Whereby, our preferred meeting platform wish to plant 1 million new trees, one for every 3 digital meetings held in February. By booking a digital meeting with us we get to meet and exchange ideas as well as look after mother nature, it’s a win win for all parts!
During a special year with home offices, quaranteens and a barely there social life, nature has helped many of us. This is why we wish, in cooperation with Whereby, to give back to mother nature by planting an entire forest! Not only is it good recreation of body and soul, it is an essential part of the whole eco-system. It makes up the habitat for thousands of species, it stops water pollution, cleans the air we breathe, takes up CO2 and so much more.
Madagaskar, the world’s fourth largest island is picked as the location for this project, together with Kenya and Mosambique. These are countries with enormous biodiversity that is currently under threat from deforestation. The trees being planted will be Mangoves. These trees are able to store vast amounts of carbon, which benefits the fight against climate changes, as well as being great at stopping erotion and storms.
Brynk and Eden Reforestation Project will coordinate the planting with members of local communities in Boanamary in northwest Madagascar, Kitiligini in Kenya and Mahubo in Mozambique . This way we will help the local communities with earning a living short term as well as longterm as they will source both income and food from the new forest planted.
